· RED FORT - Red sandstone battlements give this imperial citadel its name red fort "Lal Quila" (Monday close).

DAY 04 (3/ 06/ 2004) DRIVE TO JAIPUR VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI, HALF-DAY SIGHT SEEING
Fatehpur Sikri: Fatehpur Sikri, 38 km from Agra, was one of the capital cities of Akbar after the childless Mughal was blessed with a son with the blessings of the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti, who lived here. The new capital came up in 1569. Through the Juxtaposition of the buildings seems whimsical, they are thoughtfully planned, imparting an atmosphere of playful brilliance. Towering, walls on three sides surround the rectangular-shaped city, accessible through nine gates, and an artificial lake is located on the west. Credit for preserving the monuments goes to Lord Curzon. These protected monuments and the city's environs are well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India.

PATAN -
· Second largest city in the valley, also referred to as lalitpur, which means "city of beautiful". It has a long Buddhist history and its four corners is marked by stupas erected by great buddish emperor Ashoka.its central durbar square is parked with temple per square meter then in Katmandu. Numerous other temples of widely diverse style as well as Buddhist monasteries are scattered around this fascinating town.

· Nepal, s most important temple and also one of the most important SHIV TEMPLE in the sub continent, draws devotees from all over India and many colourful sadhus. Shiva is the destroyer and creator of the Hindu pantheon and appears in many forms. His terrible form appears in Nepal as the cruel and destructive Bhairabs. But also has peaceful incarnations those of Mahadev and Pashupati known as the lord of beast. Shiva as Pashupati shows his most pleasant and creative side.
